All our cover options provide many of the same benefits. The cover options have been created so you can choose the cover that you want.
We cannot make recommendations on the suitability of any option for you, but we hope that the following information will help you decide.
If you’re planning more than one holiday this year, annual multi-trip cover may save you money.
If you will be undertaking any Winter Sport activity, you must choose cover for Winter Sports.
Our Winter Sports cover ONLY includes skiing, tobogganing, snow boarding and outdoor ice-skating.
We do NOT cover competitive winter sports including ski or ski bob racing, mono skiing, ski jumping, ski boarding, ice hockey and the use of bobsleighs and skeletons. You may not buy our cover if you intend to undertake any of these sports.
We recognise that you may go off-piste. You should only do so if you have the appropriate skills and equipment and are accompanied by someone who knows the area well.
If you get ill or have an accident, or your ski pass is lost or stolen, we’ll pay for the unused portion up to £75 per week, with a maximum of £300 per holiday.
If you are unable to ski for over 12 consecutive hours because of a lack of snow in your resort and there’s no alternative skiing available, we’ll pay £20 for each full 24 hour period, with a maximum of £200 per holiday.
If your activity is not excluded by the policy, we will cover the cost of getting you off the slopes, and any subsequent medical costs.
Our annual policy gives you up to 21 days winter sports in any policy year. If you buy our trip policy and select our winter sports option, you will be covered for winter sports for the trip duration you choose.
